Pith

Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

The service

Pith is a documentation maintenance tool. By installing the GitHub App or connecting a GitLab project, you authorize Pith to read your repository's code and open pull requests containing generated documentation updates.

Your responsibilities

  • You must have the right to connect any repository you add to Pith.
  • You are responsible for reviewing generated pull requests before merging. Pith uses AI and may produce inaccurate output.
  • Do not use Pith to generate documentation that violates third-party rights or applicable law.

AI-generated content

Documentation is generated by AI models. Output may contain errors or omissions. You are solely responsible for reviewing and accepting any changes Pith commits to your repositories.

Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from the dashboard; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not issued for partial periods.

Limitation of liability

Pith is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, or reputation arising from use of the service, including errors in AI-generated documentation.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
